TransCanada to Proceed with Saddle West Natural Gas Project
- TransCanada Corporation (NYSE:TRP) (Calgary, Alberta) says it will proceed with its $655 million Saddle West expansion of its NGTL system, which will increase natural gas transportation capacity in the northwest portion of the system by 355 million cubic feet per day. (TransCanada)

Williams CEO: More Pipeline Growth Being Pursued - The Williams Companies (NYSE:WMB) (Tulsa, Oklahoma), is pursuing 20 potential growth opportunities in addition to the natural gas pipeline projects it has already committed to or has under construction, Chief Executive Officer Alan Armstrong said Tuesday. Baker Hughes: International Rig Counts Increase
- Baker Hughes reports that rig counts for North American and international locations increased by 58 for the month of November to 1,678. This compares to 2,047 in the same period of 2015. (Business Wire)

CRUDE OIL
U.S. Crude Stocks Fall, but Cushing Shows Rise
- The U.S. Energy Information Administration reported that U.S. crude stocks fell 2.4 million barrels for the week ending December 2. However, crude supplies at the Cushing, Oklahoma, oil hub, rose by 3.8 million barrels, the most since 2009. (Reuters)

Is $4 Natural Gas Within Reach?
- This Bloomberg article discusses how an Arctic chill blanketing the Northeastern U.S. could possible send natural gas prices above $4 per million British thermal units. (Bloomberg)
