Devon Energy Reports Quarterly Earnings - Devon Energy Corporation (NYSE: DVN) (Oklahoma City, Oklahoma) on Tuesday reported net earnings of $331 million in 4Q16, compared to a net loss of $4.5 billion in 4Q15. The company's production in the fourth quarter reached 537,000 oil-equivalent barrels per day. (Business Wire)

Wind Power Sets Record in Southwest Power Pool - Wind briefly powered more than 50% of electric demand on Sunday, the 14-state Southwest Power Pool said, for the first time on any North American power grid. (Reuters)

EIA: U.S. Shale Oil Production Expected to Rise - U.S. shale oil production for March is expected to rise by the most in five months to its highest rate since May last year, data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration showed on Monday. March oil production is forecast to rise by nearly 79,000 barrels per day to 4.87 million barrels per day. (Reuters)
Eni Continues to Invest in Egypt - Eni SpA (NYSE:E) (Rome, Italy) will start producing from the giant Zohr natural gas field off Egypt's Mediterranean coast by the end of 2017 and plans to invest $10 billion in the North African country over the next five years, Chief Executive Officer Claudio Descalzi said. (Bloomberg)
