CRUDE OIL
OPEC, Russia Agree to Extend Production Cuts - OPEC and non-OPEC producers led by Russia agreed on Thursday to extend oil output cuts until the end of 2018 as they try to finish clearing a global glut of crude while signaling a possible early exit from the deal if the market overheats. (Reuters)
U.S. Crude Oil Production Surged in September - The nation's oil production climbed nearly 300,000 barrels a day (BBL/d) in September, reaching the highest level since its most recent peak in April 2015, the Energy Department said Thursday. Energy companies pumped 9.48 million BBL/d in September, up 3.2% compared to the 9.19 million BBL/d produced in August. (Fuel Fix)

Fluor Completes Canadian Gas Plants - Fluor Corporation (NYSE:FLR) announced Thursday that mechanical completion has been achieved on the Sunrise 04-26, Tower 03-07 and Saturn 15-27 sweet gas plants for the Cutbank Ridge Partnership program in Dawson Creek, British Columbia, Canada. The plants will have the capacity to process a combined additional 800 million cubic feet of gas per day. (Business Wire)

Enbridge Announces Plans to Sell C$3 Billion in Assets - Shares of Enbridge Incorporated (NYSE:ENB) rose Thursday as the company announced plans to divest C$3 billion ($2.3 billion) in non-core assets in 2018. (Reuters)
