Entergy Corporation (NYSE: ETR) (New Orleans, Louisiana) has completed the erection phase of the 570MW Harrison County Electrical Generating Station and is on track to enter commercial operation this summer. Cleaning and final checkout of the plant's generating equipment and auxiliary systems are underway. Commercial operation is scheduled for June 1, 2003.

The plant is located off State Highway 43 approximately eight miles southwest of Marshall, Texas.
Engineering, construction, and start-up services are being performed by Stone & Webster, a unit of The Shaw Group Shaw Group Incorporated (NYSE: SGR) (Baton Rouge, Louisiana).
