Alberta Oil Producers Aim to End Production Cuts - This Reuters article discusses how major Canadian oil companies, which publicly disagreed over the Alberta government's forced oil production curtailments, are in lockstep over how to end the production limits. Senior executives from Suncor Energy (NYSE:SU), Canadian Natural Resources (NYSE:CNQ), Imperial Oil (TSX:IMO) and Cenovus Energy (NYSE:CVE) said at a TD Securities investor conference in Calgary on Tuesday that they are in talks with Premier Jason Kenney's Alberta government. The discussions center on ending the mandatory cuts just as added rail capacity to move crude comes online. (Reuters)

EIA: U.S. Oil Production to Reach Record Highs in 2019 - U.S. crude oil production will rise to an all-time high of 12.36 million barrels per day (BBL/d) in 2019 from a record high of 10.96 million BBL/d last year, the Energy Information Administration's (EIA) Short Term Energy Outlook said on Tuesday. The latest July output projection for 2019 was up from EIA's 12.32 million BBL/d forecast in June. (Reuters)
