EnLink Moves Forward with Permian Natural Gas Pipeline Project - EnLink Midstream LLC (NYSE:ENLC) (Dallas, Texas) on Thursday said it would move forward with the construction of a Permian-to-Houston natural gas pipeline after the company secured sufficient transportation agreements with shippers. The Matterhorn Express Pipeline is designed to transport up to 2.5 billion cubic feet per day of natural gas through about 490 miles from Waha, Texas, to near Houston, with supply sourced from connections in the Permian Basin. U.S. Drillers Add Rigs - The U.S. oil and gas rig count rose 14 to 728 in the week ending May 20, its highest since March 2020, energy services firm Baker Hughes Company (NYSE:BKR) (Houston, Texas) said. U.S. oil rigs rose 13 to 576, their highest since March 2020, while gas rigs gained one to 150, their highest since September 2019. (Reuters)
