German Cosmetics Company Plans North American Expansion

The company will construct a new 51,000 square foot production space addition to the existing 264,000 square foot plant and install new process equipment.
Newfield Construction of Hartford, Connecticut has been awarded the construction management contract. With engineering completed, they are working on obtaining final permits and planning to begin construction by the end of January. The expansion, which will increase production capacity for a variety of cosmetic lotion products, will be complete by mid 2004.
