There are four business groups within Buckner Companies: Buckner Heavy Lift Cranes, Buckner Steel Erection, Buckner Industrial Rigging, and Buckner Miscellaneous Iron. While the steel erection and industrial rigging groups operate primarily in the Mid-Atlantic and southeastern U.S., the company is perhaps best known for its expertise as a provider of heavy lift lattice boom crawler cranes. Buckner's fleet ranges from 80 tons to 825 tons, and Buckner has cranes working across the lower 48 states, Alaska, Hawaii and Canada and offers these crane as both operated and bare rentals.

More than just a crane provider, Buckner supports their client's success by becoming a stakeholder in their projects. Buckner provides site visits, drawing reviews, and engineered lift plans to determine the best location, type, and size of crane for a particular projects.
