Henkel, a global leader in adhesive solutions, sealants and surface treatment, is investing approximately 7.2 million Brazilian Real, ($5.7 million), in the construction of affluent and effluent treatment stations at its Jundiai plant, located in the interior of Sao Paulo, Brazil. The undertaking responds to governmental environmental regulations and consists in the installation of a water treatment station that will reduce the environmental footprint of demand for water resources and the effluent treatment station will directly contribute to the reduction of pollution, considering the limits established in the legislation. The new facilities are expected to be operational by mid-2022.
