Imperial Oil has scheduled a 65-day planned maintenance turnaround on the 540 million-pound-per-year Gas Cracker (Ethylene), 25,000-BBL/d Fluid Coker, 120,000 BBL/d Crude/Vac (AMV) and SRIS 2 (SRU) at its 120,000-BBL/d Sarnia, Ontario, refinery in Canada.

International
Total Refining & Chemicals has halted its 205,000-BBL/d Crude D11 and 27,000-BBL/d DSV 8 (Vacuum Distillation) units at its 205,000-BBL/d Gonfreville Refinery in France. A fire broke out at a pump in the D11 unit on December 14, which affected the DSV 8 unit. Repairs are ongoing and the cause of the fire is under investigation. It was unclear when the units would resume full production.

Sinopec Anqing Company Limited continues its 55-day refinery-wide maintenance at its 160,000-BBL/d Anqing Refinery in Anhui, China. Planned maintenance commenced on October 31. The refinery is expected to resume normal operations on December 24.

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) remains on schedule for a planned turnaround at its 417,000-BBL/d Ruwais Refinery 2 (West) in Abu Dhabi. The turnaround is expected to begin on February 6, 2020. Expectations are to complete repairs and restart the RFCCU Block by February 26, while the CDU Block is expected to be back online by March 16. For more insight contact iirteam@iirenergy.com
