Marathon completed planned maintenance on October 13 and restarted the 28,500-BBL/d FCCU, 11,250-BBL/d Reformer 1, 11,250-BBL/d Reformer 2 and associated units at its 101,000-BBL/d Saint Paul Park, Minnesota, refinery. The 49,000-BBL/d Crude 1 and 52,000 BBL/d Crude 2 have returned to normal operation after reducing production rates by 30% throughout the event to control inventory. The turnaround began on September 6.

Shell Oil Products US restarted the 24,000-BBL/d Delayed Coker at its 144,000-BBL/d Puget Sound, Anacortes, Washington, refinery on Tuesday after the unit was taken down for planned repairs on October 5.

Coffeyville Refining (CVR), restarted units on Wednesday that were shut down on Tuesday evening, October 16, at its 115,000-BBL/d Coffeyville, Kansas, refinery. Units affected included the 32,000-BBL/d FCCU, 22,000-BBL/d Vacuum Distillation and 30,000-BBL/d Hydrobon (Naphtha Hydrotreater). The event lasted less than 24 hours.

International
Gazprom Neft PAO restarted units at its 400,000-BBL/d Omsk, Russia, refinery on October 13 that had been shut down since early September and early October, respectively, after a planned maintenance turnaround. Units affected were the 40,000-BBL/d Catalytic Cracker (43-107) and the 11,100-BBL/d Diesel Hydrotreater L-24/7.

Saratov Refinery OJSC started a plant-wide maintenance turnaround at its 150,000-BBL/d Saratov Refinery in Russia. Maintenance work began in early October and is expected to take approximately seven weeks to complete.

LUKOIL-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez LLC completed planned maintenance on October 11 for the 39,600-BBL/d ABT-1 (Crude 01) and the 23,700-BBL/d ABT-1 (Vacuum 01) at its 354,561-BBL/d Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez Refinery in Russia. The units went down for maintenance in mid-September. Meanwhile, the ongoing maintenance of the 7,500-BBL/d Continuous Catalytic Reformer (L-35/11-300) was completed on October 1; however, the unit remains in reserve until the end of October.
