Basin Electric Power Cooperative has moved up the restart of the 570-megawatt (MW) Laramie River 01 unit at its Laramie River Power Station in Wyoming. The restart now is scheduled for August 18. Separately, the Laramie River 02 unit was shut down on August 12 to repair a boiler tube leak. The restart is expected August 19.

Florida Power & Light Company, today, August 17, took 280.7 MW offline from the Turkey Point 03 unit at its Turkey Point Nuclear Power Station in Florida. The unit is returning from an unplanned outage, and is operating at 65%. This event is expected to end later today.

Northern States Power Company powered down the Monticello 01 unit overnight at its Monticello Nuclear Generating Station in Minnesota due to low water levels in the Mississippi River. The unit is running at 80%, but this event is expected to end later today.
