Phillips 66, today, October 11, completed planned minor repair work on the 30,000-BBL/d Fluid Catalytic Cracking Unit (FCCU) 29, which began October 1, at its 145,000-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) Borger, Texas, refinery. The unit is expected to be back online and operational later today.

Parkland Fuel Corporation, on October 1, began a 25-day planned maintenance turnaround of the 3,000-BBL/d Sulfuric Alkylation (SF Alky) Unit at its 50,000-BBL/d refinery in Burnaby, British Columbia. During the outage on the SF Alky, the 18,000-BBL/d FCCU will be running at an estimated 50% of capacity.

International
Naftan OJSC, in early October, restarted the 10,000-BBL/d thermal cracker unit at its 285,000-BBL/d Naftan Novopolotsk Refinery in Belarus, and at the end of September, completed planned maintenance and equipment replacement on the 6,000-BBL/d Catalytic Reformer No. 5 (LG-35-8/3900B) Unit.

Star Petroleum Refining Company Limited (SPRC), on October 8, restarted the 42,000-BBL/d Residue Fluid Catalytic Cracking Unit (RFCCU) at its 175,000-BBL/d Map Ta Phut Refinery in Thailand, following a 14-day unplanned shutdown due to a leak.

Total Refining & Chemicals Feyzin, on October 2, was forced to shut down the 117,000-BBL/d Crude DA2 Unit at its 117,000-BBL/d Feyzin Refinery in France, due to a fire caused by a leak in a crude pump. Repairs are ongoing, and the unit is tentatively expected to restart in early November.
