Sun Pharma has issued yet another product recall, albeit a voluntary one this time. The action concerns 140 cases (14,000 doses) of Vecuronium Bromide for Injection, a drug used for anesthesia, after the drug was found to contain particulate matter identified as glass.
Sun is no stranger to product recalls. In 2018, the recalls included a diabetes drug, nasal spray and a testosterone injection. All of the products were manufactured at the company's troubled Halol, India, plant and all were for export to the U.S.
