Lohmann Completes Construction of New Adhesives Plant in Virginia

Lohmann Technologies Corporation (Hebron, Kentucky), a subsidiary of LOHMANN GmbH & Company KG (Germany) has completed construction of their new plant located at 14218 Litchfield Drive in Orange, Virginia (Plant 1060714).

Construction for this approximately $6 million and 25,000 square foot plant began in March of 2003 under the direction of James N Gray Company (Richmond, Virginia). Original construction plans called for the new plant to be producing initial product last fall.

This new plant will produce adhesive tapes and related products supporting Lohmann's plate mounting tapes business group. Expansion plans are already being considered with the potential of doubling the size of the existing plant within two years at this new site (PEC 27001394).
