Magnolia LNG has decided to move out the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract deadline for KSJV, a joint venture of KBR and SKE&C. The extension will last through June 2020. Magnolia has received its draft environmental impact study and is expecting final approval by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) in early 2020. Magnolia's planned liquefied natural gas (LNG) facility will be located in Lake Charles, Louisiana, and will have a production capacity of 8.8 million metric tons per year.
