India's Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) awarded a contract for the subsea umbilicals on its KG-DWN 98/2 offshore field development to subsea services provider Oceaneering.
The contract includes the designing and manufacturing of 44 electro-hydraulic control umbilicals, totaling about 73 miles (118 kilometers) in length, to be delivered on a combination of reels and carousels. Oceaneering is expected to manufacture the umbilicals at its facility in Rosyth, Scotland.
