PacifiCorp (Portland, Oregon), a subsidiary of ScottishPower (NYSE:SPI), has commenced full commercial operation for the combined-cycle conversion, which was the second phase of the $348 million Currant Creek Project, located in Salt Lake City, Utah. Construction for the project began in March 2005, and was completed in January 2006. PacifiCorp began full commercial operation of the project in late March.
