Performance Food Completes $15 Million Refrigerated Distribution Center in Georgia

Reported by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)-- Performance Food Group (NASDAQ:PFGC) (Richmond, Virginia) has completed construction of a refrigerated distribution center in Cairo, Georgia. The company is relocating operations from Thomasville, Georgia, to the new facility. It is expected that 138 new jobs will be created over the next few years.

The company broke ground last spring on the $15 million project, which involved the construction of a 114,000-square-foot distribution center with cooler and freezer plus dry-goods storage. Construction manager Environmental Structures Incorporated (Hartland, Wisconsin), was awarded the contract.
