Performance Food Group selected T.W. Frierson Contractor Incorporated (Nashville, Tennessee) as the primary contractor for this $26 million project and completion of construction is expected by September of 2004.
The site is located off U.S. 6 and Rogers Road in Kendallville and 150 new jobs will be created when the center becomes fully operational.
Performance Food Group markets and distributes more than 61,000 national and private-label food and food-related products to approximately 46,000 customers. In 2002, company-wide net sales exceeded $4 billion. They operate nineteen distribution centers in the U.S. in fifteen different states.
