Located off Newark Road facing Interstate 69 East of M-53 in Imlay City, Michigan, the approximately $13 Million 300,000 square foot plant is expected to consolidate Rubber Enterprises' six leased facilities in Romeo, Michigan. Construction is expected to be complete in December 2004.
R. E. Fraley Company, Incorporated, located in Clinton Township, Michigan, was awarded the construction management contract for the project. R E Fraley, founded in 1976, provides design/build, architectural, general construction and construction management services to clients throughout the Michigan Area.
Fraley hired Atwell-Hicks, Incorporated, headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan, to help with the design for the project. Atwell-Hicks is a multidisciplinary organization providing civil engineering, land surveying, land planning and environmental services to companies throughout the Michigan and Illinois Areas.
Juan Carlo Incorporated (Clinton Township, Michigan) was hired by R E Fraley to perform the site preparation. They will be constructing the parking lot drains, the building drains, and the leveling which includes the earthwork such as stripping the topsoil.
