Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--SOILCO (New South Wales) continues to develop large-scale, state-of-the-art organics processing and clean-energy facilities in Southeast Queensland.
SOILCO has purchased two strategic sites in Queensland to expand its operations: a 6.7-hectare site near Brisbane Airport in Pinkenba and a 190-hectare site in Bromelton. SOILCO will integrate anaerobic digestion and in-vessel composting tunnels to divert organic wastes from landfills. The proposed facilities are targeted to be operational by 2024-2025 to meet the soil improvement needs of the Queensland region. These facilities will add to SOILCO's other proposed and existing facilities in New South Wales.
