Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Preem AB (Stockholm, Sweden) is restarting units after a planned maintenance shutdown at its 210,000-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) Preemraff Gothenburg refinery located in the city of Gothenburg, Sweden. Preem AB is a wholly owned subsidiary of Corral Petroleum Holdings AB, which is owned by Moroncha Holdings Co. Limited, a Cypriot company which is, in turn, wholly owned by Mr. Mohammed H. Al Amoudi.

The overhaul that started August 31 with the regeneration of the 24,000-BBL/d Catalytic Reformer involved the whole facility. Units like the two Atmospheric Distillation units, the Naphtha Desulphurization units and the Isomerization unit already are back online. They were restarted September 25 after being offline for 26 non-production days. Minor auxiliary units were brought online October 1.
