Chevron Corporation in mid-January 2022 will perform turnarounds on the 78,750-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) Fluid Catalytic Cracking Unit and the 8,000-BBL/d SF Alky for 45 days at its 325,000-BBL/d refinery in Pascagoula, Mississippi. The turnarounds previously were scheduled to begin in March 2022. Separately, work on the 107,000-BBL/d Delayed Coker, which previously was planned to undergo a 47-day turnaround beginning in April 2023, will now begin in March 2022.
Motiva Enterprises LLC in mid-January 2022 will shut down the 80,000-BBL/d Crude VPS-2 for two weeks of planned repairs at its 600,000-BBL/d refinery in Port Arthur, Texas. Separately, the 54,000-BBL/d Delayed Coker 1 has rescheduled its turnaround to take place in the spring of 2023, instead of the spring of 2022.
Par Hawaii Refining's 148,000-BBL/d refinery in Kapolei, Hawaii, remains operational, despite heavy rains that have caused power and water outages in nearby Honolulu.

Zhejiang Petrochemical Company continues with trial runs on units for the Phase 2 Project at its 800,000-BBL/d Zhoushan (Daishan) Refinery in China. The 200,000-BBL/d Crude Distillation Unit (CDU) 4 is expected to complete its final commissioning and start commercial production by the end of January 2022. The refinery is running at about 80% of its nameplate capacity.
Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCL) has operated the 66,000-BBL/d (design capacity of 56,000 BBL/d) CDU 1 and 86,000-BBL/d CDU 2 at 78% and 88%, respectively, at its 232,000-BBL/d (design capacity of 210,000 BBL/d) Manali Refinery in India since November 11, as result of production planning. The units tentatively are expected to resume full throughput by December 24.
Saratov Refinery OJSC has completed planned maintenance of the 20,000-BBL/d Visbreaker Unit at its 150,000-BBL/d Saratov refinery in Russia. The maintenance had started in late-September 2021 and was completed late October 2021.
