ExxonMobil shut down the 135,000-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) Crude Pipe Still 7 unit on November 28 at its 557,000-BBL/d refinery in Baytown, Texas, after the 51,500-BBL/d Delayed Coker was reduced by 50%. The event is currently expected to last until the end of December.
International
Ceylon Petroleum has delayed the restart of its 40,000-BBL/d (design capacity: 50,000 BBL/d) Colombo Refinery in Sri Lanka, which was forced to shut down on October 7. Tentative expectations are to restart the units by January 7.
