PBF Chalmette Refining LLC continues with repairs on its 27,000-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) HDS Diesel Hydrotreater, which was forced to shut down on January 21 due to a fire at its 192,000-BBL/d Chalmette, Louisiana, refinery. At this time, expectations are to return the unit to service by mid-March.

Eni Spa has started a planned plant-wide maintenance turnaround at its 130,000-BBL/d Taranto Refinery in Italy. The completion is scheduled for the end of April.

Homs Refinery Company (HRC) continues with the unplanned shutdown of the 27,000-BBL/d Crude Distillation Unit (CDU) 3 and 34,000-BBL/d CDU 4 at its 121,000-BBL/d Homs Refinery in Syria, which began October 15, 2022, due to a crude oil shortage. Separately, HRC continues with a 20% derate of the 40,000-BBL/d CDU 1 and 20,000-BBL/d CDU 2, and a 50% derate of 10 units. The units are expected to resume normal operations by July 15.

Bayernoil Raffineriegesellschaft mbH has started a planned plant-wide maintenance turnaround at its 86,000-BBL/d Neustadt Refinery in Germany. The completion is scheduled for late March.
