Among the most recently completed projects is a 330-megawatt (MW) solar power-generation facility in Ninh phuoc district of Vietnam's Ninh Thuan province, led by Philippines-based company AC Energy and BIM Group Vietnam. It began construction in January 2018 and began operations last month. See map below.
The solar farm is expected to contribute 545 million kilowatt-hours (kWh) of renewable energy annually. It had been planned for completion before a feed-in-tariff deadline set for June 2019.
