Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--ZF Industries Incorporated (Gainesville, Georgia) is planning to expand the company's existing transmission manufacturing plant in Gainesville, Georgia, by constructing another plant in Gainesville, estimated to cost approximately $90 million.
Plans are to expand the existing 250,000-square-foot plant on Palmour Drive by constructing a 250,000-square-foot addition five miles from the existing plant. The new plant will manufacture transmissions for wind turbines. Also known as "Project Wind," the new plant is needed to increase the company's space and plant capacity.
