Freeport LNG Selects KBR as Preferred Bidder on Train 4, an Industrial Info Market Brief
Freeport LNG Development has announced KBR as the preferred bidder for the fourth liquefied natural gas (LNG) production train at the Quintana site in Texas. Trains 1, 2 and 3 have yet to start commercial operations, but Freeport LNG has committed to the construction of the fourth train after months of front end engineering and design (FEED) verification performed by KBR. The fourth train has a design capacity of 5.1 million metric tons per year of LNG designated for export.
