China's coal output in June amounted to 330 million metric tons (MMT), an increase of 10.4% over output a year earlier, and 6.9 percentage points higher than in May this year, according to the National Bureau of Statistics of China. Coal output totaled 1.76 billion metric tons during the first half of 2019, a 2.6% increase from the same period in 2018, the bureau reported.
