The Indian state of Kerala aims to see one million electric vehicles on its roads by 2022. As part of the plan, government-owned Kerala Automobiles Limited (KAL) has partnered with Swiss electric bus manufacturer HESS-AG to produce 3,000 electric buses for local public transportation by mid-2020.
