Indonesia aims to increase the electrification ratio in its East Nusa Tenggara (Nusa Tenggara Timur) province through the accelerated development of geothermal-sourced power generation. The Research & Development and Geological agencies of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with PT PLN (Persero) to drill production wells for the planned Marana Geothermal Power Station.
