Kenya's Sugar Imports Increase, an Industrial Info Market Brief
Public mismanagement and inefficacy of sugar mills in Kenya has triggered a plunge in the country's sugar output and has caused a sharp increase in imports. Sugar imports in the first five months of 2019 went up by 112% to 172,213 tons, from 80,596 tons in the same period of 2018.
