Industrial Info is tracking six active carbon black projects in South Asia, worth $171 million, that are scheduled to begin construction in the next year. Click here for a list of projects. Two grassroot plants, totaling almost $106 million, owned by Continental Carbon India Limited and Madura Carbon India Limited, are scheduled to kick off construction soon. Phillips Carbon Black has also lined up two in-plant expansion projects worth almost $50 million.
