China's Crude Oil Output Up 2.9% in September, an Industrial Info Market Brief

In September, China's output of crude oil reached 15.64 million metric tons, an increase of 1.0% year over year, which was 1.9 percentage points higher than the previous month. From January to September, the accumulative output of crude oil reached 143.13 million metric tons, an increase of 1.2% year over year, according to the Instant Statistic Report of the National Bureau of Statistics of China.

In September, China's imports of crude oil reached 41.24 million metric tons, an increase of 10.8% year over year. From January through September, China's accumulative imports of crude oil reached 369.04 million metric tons, an increase of 9.7% year over year.

In September, China's crude oil processing volume reached 56.49 million metric tons, an increase of 9.4% year over year, which was 2.5 percentage points higher than the previous month. From January through September 2019, China's accumulative processing volume of crude oil reached 480.38 million metric tons, an increase of 6.2% year over year.
