China's Crude Oil Output Reached 16.11 Million Tons in October, an Industrial Info Market Brief

In October 2019, China's output of crude oil reached 16.11 million metric tons (MMT), which was of the same level year over year, and the daily average output slightly reduced to 0.52 million metric ton; from January through October 2019, the accumulative output of crude oil reached 159.25 million metric tons, a slight increase of 1.1% year over year, according to the Instant Statistic Report of the National Bureau of Statistics.

In October, China's import of crude oil reached 45.51 million metric tons, a jump of 17.1% year over year, which was 6.3 percentage points higher than the previous month; from January through October 2019, China's accumulative import of crude oil reached 414.55 million metric tons, an increase of 10.5% year over year.

In the aspect of crude oil processing, in October 2019, China's processing volume of crude oil reached 57.84 million metric tons, an increase of 9.2% year over year, but the growth was 0.2 percentage point lower than the previous month; from January through October 2019, China's accumulative processing volume of crude oil reached 537.10 million metric tons, an increase of 6.4% year over year.
