German Chemical Industry Sees More than $500 Million in Planned Grassroot Projects, an Industrial Info Market Brief

German company PCC SE plans to invest more than $500 million in a grassroot facility for the production of ethylene oxide and its downstream products that is planned to begin construction in 2021, with a likely completion time of three years. Another investment of $21 million is planned by Pyrum Innovations ESC GmbH in a tire recycling facility, which is expected to be operational by the end of this year.
