HES Wilhelmshaven GmbH has rescheduled the restart of the 87,000-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) vacuum and the 16,000-BBL/d hydrotreater units at its 260,000-BBL/d Wilhelmshaven Refinery in Germany. The refinery has been mothballed since December 2009 due to market conditions. HES Wilhelmshaven plans to restart the vacuum unit to produce low-sulfur marine fuel. The restart previously was expected to take place this month, but it has been rescheduled for mid-June, due to COVID-19 concerns.
