Containment measures implemented across India to minimize the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic have forced the delay in startup of 132,000 barrels per day of diesel hydrotreaters. As of now, the refiners are expecting to resume the commercial startup of the hydrotreaters in subsequent months, which could be further delayed because of the pandemic.
