JFE Steel Corporation has shuttered two blast furnaces in Japan due to COVID-19: Blast Furnace 04 at the Kurashiki integrated steel mill was suspended on April 24. Blast Furnace 04 at the Fukuyama integrated steel mill was suspended on June 20.
