India's Natural Gas Production Declines, an Industrial Info Market Brief
As reported by India's Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, natural gas production in India during May was 2,300 million cubic feet which is 11.32% lower than the monthly target and 16.02% lower when compared with May 2019. The main reason for the shortfall, quoted by the oil and gas players, was a loss of production due to the nationwide lockdown for COVID-19 and low gas demand.
