A pipeline explosion occurred late Wednesday afternoon at the Lone Star natural gas liquids (NGL) plant in Mont Belvieu, Texas. The blast occurred when an onsite contractor ruptured a pipeline, according to news accounts. No injuries were reported. Firefighters contained the pipeline leak and let the flames burn out.
