Deer Park Refining, on Monday, December 14, restarted the 38,500-BBL/d Jet/Diesel Hydrotreater (HDU-1) at it 340,000-BBL/d Deer Park, Texas, refinery after shutting down for repairs on December 4.
Motiva Enterprises, last weekend, December 12, started a planned turnaround on the 195,000-BBL/d VPS 4 (Crude) at its 600,000-BBL/d Port Arthur, Texas, refinery. The event was previously reported to last 45 days, but Industrial Info was recently told that it would be a short duration.

South Refineries Company (SRC), on December 9, restarted the 70,000-BBL/d Crude Area 3 at its 210,000-BBL/d Basra Refinery in Iraq. The units were under a 30-day planned maintenance turnaround since November 10. Major affected units in Crude Area 3 include the 70,000-BBL/d CDU 3, 6,000-BBL/d NHT and 8,000-BBL/d Reformer.
ISAB Srl has extended the completion of a plant-wide turnaround at its 226,000-BBL/d Priolo Gargallo (South) Refinery in Italy. The turnaround, which began on October 1, has been extended to December 21.
Krasnadareconeft NK OJSC is keeping its 62,500-BBL/d Krasnodarskiy Refinery in Russia in economic shutdown. The 29,000-BBL/d AT-2 (Crude 02) Unit has been offline since early June, where the 33,000-BBL/d ABT (Crude 01) and the 22,000-BBL/d ABT (Vacuum 01) units were shut down on December 4. The refinery is tentatively scheduled to be restarted by early January 2021.
