New Zealand's economy has recovered from its COVID-19-induced recession, according to recent numbers released by Statistics New Zealand.
The V-shaped economic recovery is due to more consumer spending and New Zealand's control of the COVID-19 outbreak, according to Bloomberg. The economy grew by 0.4% compared with 2019.
