According to Financial Express, logistics major DB Schenker stated that India's warehousing and logistics industry is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 10.5% for 2021-2022.
With the Indian government's push for local manufacturing, more companies need to have warehouses closer to target markets, which also includes Tier II cities in India. Even marine ports are planning to use their unused spaces for warehousing projects.
