Dominion Offshore Wind Project Achieves Regulatory Milestone - Dominion Energy Incorporated (NYSE:D) (Richmond, Virginia) announced that the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) will publish in the Federal Register on Friday the Notice of Intent (NOI) for the proposed 2.6-gigawatt Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind commercial project, the largest planned offshore wind farm in the United States. Oil Up About 2% on OPEC+ Output, Demand Prospects - Oil prices rose roughly 2% on Thursday on indications that OPEC+ producers could increase output more slowly than expected in coming months, while rising global fuel demand causes supply to tighten. Brent crude settled at $75.84 a barrel, up $1.22, or 1.6%. U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude oil settled at $75.23 a barrel, gaining $1.76, or 2.4%. (Reuters)

Williams Companies Completes Acquisition of Sequent from Southern Company - U.S. energy company Williams Companies Incorporated (NYSE:WMB) (Tulsa, Oklahoma) said Thursday it completed the acquisition of natural gas marketer Sequent Energy (Houston) from Southern Company's (NYSE:SO) (Atlanta, Georgia) gas unit. Williams said the acquisition, announced in May, accelerates its gas pipeline and storage optimization and increases Williams' gas pipeline marketing footprint to more than 8 billion cubic feet per day.
