Venture Global Makes LNG Sales Agreement with Petronas - Venture Global LNG LLC (Arlington, Virginia) has made a 20-year sales and purchase agreement with Malaysia's Petronas (Kuala Lumpur) for 1 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) of LNG from its Plaquemines LNG plant in Louisiana. With this agreement, Venture Global has now announced 20-year sales for 16 MTPA of the 20 MPTA nameplate capacity at Plaquemines LNG. Iraq's April Crude Oil Production Rises Above OPEC+ Quotas - Iraq pumped 4.43 million barrels per day (BBL/d) of oil in April, up by 282,000 BBL/d from March, according to data from state-owned marketer SOMO. According to the production figures, Iraq's April output was 16,000 BBL/d above its OPEC+ quota for that month. (Reuters)

Colombia's oil and gas industry was battered by the coronavirus pandemic in 2020, before suffering further declines amid weeks of unrest caused by anti-government protests in the middle of 2021.
