India's Paper Consumption to Rise by 2027

NEW DELHI--June 1, 2022--Paper consumption in India is expected to grow at a rate of between 6% and 7% annually and reach 30 million tons by 2026-2027, according to India's Business Standard. This would be driven by an increase in literacy, along with increased activity in the retail, packaged food and e-commerce sectors.
