June 12, 2025--Written by Paul Wiseman for Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas--This week the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced its approval of Texas' bid to be granted primacy in approving Class VI carbon injection wells in the state under the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA). Before final approval the EPA will host a virtual public hearing on July 24 from 5-8 p.m. CDT.
