Genera PR Seeks to Install 565 MW in Puerto Rico

CORDOBA, ARGENTINA--September 6, 2024--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Genera PR LLC (San Juan, Puerto Rico), a subsidiary of New Fortress Energy Incorporated (NASDAQ:NFE) (New York, New York), has requested permission from the Puerto Rico Energy Bureau (PREB) for the installation of 565 megawatts (MW) of short-term temporary thermal capacity to be installed in different generation plants under its responsibility. Genera PR is in charge of the operation and maintenance of the thermal generation plants of Puerto Rico's state-owned PREPA GenCo.
